Leaving Gozo

Mgarr Ix-Xini (Pronounced: Mjarr ish shini) is a long inlet on the south of Gozo.  It has two caves in the west wall and max depth is around 12m.  Sealife is abounding and our day dive was followed by a splendid night dive when even more species were spotted.  Large snails known locally as "Sand Shell" are 8"-10" across and have black and white bodies, they are poisonous but sales of their shells are decimating the population.
